Decoupage Rock
On the next trip have the kids collect nice smooth rocks to make their own souvenir Decoupage Rock. They can cover it with magazines, maps or brochures from their vacation adventure.
Trivia: Igneous rocks are formed when molten rock (magma) from within Earth cools and solidifies.

Misc paper materials like magazines, brochures etc
Acrylic Paint
Paintbrush
Mod Podge
Newspaper
Instructions
Choose a rock from a special place.
Wash and dry.
Paint with acrylic paint.
Cut or tear colorful pieces of magazines and decoupage them to the rock.
Add a phrase, the location or the date.
