Mothers Day Basket
Our travelling grandmother, Mary Ruthaven, has created this cute Mother’s Day basket for little ones to fill with their own special treasures.
Supplies
Paper Plates
Stapler
Crayons, markers or colored pencils
Misc craft materials to make flowers etc
Scissors
Glue
Instructions
Follow the photos and cut Mom from one plate. Her head and arms are cut on one half of the plate and the other half is left as is.
Cut another plate in half to make the front of the basket.
Color your Mom using crayons, paint, markers or colored pencils.
Make a design and note on the half plate.
Staple or glue the halves together but leave the top open.
Put Mom\'s hands together and staple.
Fill the basket with whatever you want. Try making some flowers from paper, felt or foam and stick them through the looped arms into the basket. You can use pipe cleaners for the stems.
