Sock Worms
Turn those mis-matched socks into cute Sock Worms as fun cuddle toys for the kids or bed decorations. They are easy to make and take very few supplies, most of which you will probably already have in the house.
Supplies
Old Sock
Rubber Bands
Pipe Cleaner
Wiggle Eyes
Cotton Batting
Fabric Glue
Instructions
Gather up the kids and their mis-matched socks and set them down to make these cute sock worms.
Start by pushing a wad of cotton batting in the toe. Take your pipe cleaner and center it at the bottom of the worm, twisting it tightly to hold the batting in place to form the face.
Curl the pipe cleaners at the ends to form the antenna. Use the picture for reference.
Continue stuffing with the cotton batting, using the rubber bands to form the balls. Make the last ball smaller, leaving the cuff as the end.
Glue wiggle eyes to complete the face.
Note: If you are making these for small children, you might want to make the eyes from felt to prevent a chocking hazard.
