Bean Mosaic Owl Craft

Mosaic owl made from various colors of beans

Kids will have fun making this Bean Mosaic Owl as they sort through the various types of beans in a soup mix to find the colors that are just right for their owl. We found enough different beans in one package of soup beans to make this owl.

Trivia:

Supplies
  • Different color beans
  • Tacky glue
  • Cardboard
Instructions
  1. Print out pattern.
  2.  Mount on cardboard so when the beans are added it will be strong enough to hold the weight. You might want to do this in a cookie sheet that has sides so you can keep a small supply of beans handy to work with.
  3.  Spread a thin layer of glue on a small area at a time and place the colored beans that match the pattern on that area. You can follow our picture or make your own color combinations.
