Whooo wouldn’t want to make this Pony Bead Owl. It’s great for kids to make for their  backpack, key chain or decoration. Owls are a favorite theme of many crafters. A great idea would be to make them and donate as outlined in this post from our sister site  DIY to Donate.

Trivia:

Supplies

• 28 Brown Pony Beads
• 3 Orange Pony Beads
• 2 Black Pony  Beads
• 13 Tan Pony  Beads
• 4 Feet Satin  Cord
• 1 Lanyard Hook

Instructions

1. Fold your cord in half to find the center.
2. Use a half hitch (see detail below) to secure it to lanyard hook.
3. Lace beads using pattern in the picture as a guide.
4. Finish by tying off with a double knot
