Paper Plate Bear

easy paper plate bear

This Paper Plate Bear craft is bear-ly cute enough to stay out of hibernation. Help kids make a whole family of them using smaller plates for the baby bear. These are the only kind of bears you want to find in your house.

Supplies

2 Large brown plastic plates*
One matching small drinking cup
One small black drinking cup
2 Cream colored plastic plates or foam
Large Wiggle eyes
Scissors
Craft glue
Black Marker

*Editor’s Note: If you want to use paper plates paint them and let them dry before gluing.

Instructions

Turn glass upside down and trace two circles on the brown plate for the bears ears. Cut out. cut out small circles from cream plate of foam and glue to the center of the brown circles. Glue to the large large brown paper plate. (see picture for placement)

Draw large oval on cream colored plate or foam for bear’s face. Glue to lower portion of plate. (see picture).

Cut brown cup down for bear’s nose leaving two tabs to affix nose to face. Fold tabs inward and glue so you can affix to bear’s face at the upper part of the oval.

Glue on wiggle eyes and draw mouth and freckles with marker.

You’ll bare’ly finish one when you want to make another.
