April is filled with special days and the Free Kids Craft team wants to keep the kids on schedule with our April Coloring Calendar. We’ve supplied some special dates, but let the kids add birthdays or special events. They might also like to use the calendar for homework projects.

Note to Teachers and Parents: Here’s some interesting dates in April to help you plan ahead:

April 1: April Fool’s Day
April 1: Easter Monday (Canada)
April 22-30 Passover
April 22: Earth Day
April 25: Anzac Day (Aus & NZ)
April 28 : Arbor Day

Supplies

• White Paper
• Crayons, Markers or Colored Pencils

Instructions

1. Print out enough copies of the April Coloring Calendar for each of the kids.
2. Set them up at a table with their favorite coloring utensils and let them decorate their individual calendar.
3. They may need some help adding their own special dates for birthdays and special events.

Be sure to pin their calendars where they can read them and cross off each day in anticipation of the next exciting adventure. A simple cork board hung at their level is a good place for this and other special notes or pictures.
