Pom Pom Panda
What kid wouldn’t want one of these cute and cuddly Pom Pom Pandas. They also make great additions to a teenagers bedroom pets.
Supplies
RED HEART® "Grande™" yarn 2 Oz 2101 White and 2112 Black.SUSAN BATES® Easy Wrap Pom Pon Maker, Art. 14063.
Two 15mm wiggle eyes
Scissors
Small amounts of black and red felt
A few yards of black and white worsted weight yarn
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Instructions
Following directions included with pom pon maker, and using matching worsted weight yarn to tie centers of pom pons,
·use yellow pieces to make two 3•" white pom pons (one for head and one for body);
·use green pieces to make two 2•" black pom pons for legs;
·use purple pieces to make two 1•" black pom pons for arms;
·use white pieces to make one 1" white pom pon for muzzle;
·use white pieces to make two 1" black pom pons for ears.
Trim each pom pon until round. Glue head and body together. Glue on legs, arms, muzzle, and ears.
Cut two eye patches and one nose from black felt; cut tongue from red felt. Glue wiggle eyes to tapered end of eye patches; glue patches to each side of muzzle as pictured. Glue nose to muzzle. Separate yarn strands on muzzle below nose and glue tongue in place.
