Make these great Lion and Lamb Bead Patterns to make bead projects to hang from your backpack or key chain. Beading is an old craft that continues to be popular with every generation. Trivia:

The oldest beads were naturally punctured objects. These objects would range from stones, seeds, shells, animal teeth etc. Many of the earliest examples were found Kenya and Turkey. Supplies

Lamb Supplies:

• 31 White Pony Beads
• 26 Ivory Pony Beads
• 2 Black Pony Beads
• 2 Pink Pony Beads
• 2 Yards Satin Cord
• 1 Lanyard Hook

Lion Supplies:

• 21 Brown Pony Beads
• 28 Ivory Pony Beads
• 6 Black Pony Beads
• 2 Pink Pony Beads
• 2 Yards Satin Cord
• 1 Lanyard Hook

Instructions

1. Fold your cord in half to find the center.
2. Use a half hitch shown below to secure it to lanyard hook.
3. Lace beads using pattern shown below as a guide.
4. Finish by tying off each end with a double knot.

Editors note:

• Put a small dab of white glue on the knot to make a more secure fastening.
• Patterns can be printed for group use or your convenience.
