It is an inexpensive and easy craft for younger children to enjoy while recycling materials that otherwise head straight for the garbage pile. - Small Cardboard Tube
- Craft Paint
- Paintbrush
- Black Marker
- Colored Construction Paper’
- Scissors
- Newspaper
- Glue Stick
Instructions
- Spread newspaper to protect your work surface.
- Paint the cardboard tube, let dry
- Select one of the patterns below and print on colored construction paper and cut out. You can print on two different color papers and cut out the decorations on one.
- Using the picture as a reference draw a face on the cardboard tube
- Using the glue stick, rub a line of glue down the middle of the wings and attach the cardboard to it with the face pointing out.
- Glue antenna inside the tube
