Plastic Canvas Lacing Patterns for Beginners
These Plastic Canvas Lacing Patterns for Beginners will introduce them to the craft with simple shapes. This craft is also a good exercise for fine motor skills and when completed encourages the children to tackle more complex designs. You might also consider this for some nursing home activities where fine motor skills need improvement.
Trivia:
Neuromuscular (nerve and muscle) disorders, developmental problems, decreased finger, arm, and core strength and cognitive delays are some of the medical reasons for delayed fine motor skills. Source: Intermountain Health Care- Fine Motor Delay
