Christmas Decoration Scavenger Hunt
0ur Christmas Decoration Scavenger Hunt will keep the kids occupied while driving or walking your neighborhood to admire the Christmas Decorations. Whether it is a long road trip or a local adventure they will look carefully at all of the festive decor to spy one of the items on their sheet. This is a good activity for the week between Christmas and New Years as well because many people leave their decorations up long after Christmas.
Trivia:
Gossip columnist Elsa Maxwell popularized scavenger hunts in the United States with a series of exclusive New York parties starting in the early 1930s. Source: Wikipedia – Scavenger hunt
Supplies
- White Paper
- Printer
- Pen or Pencil
- Clipboard (optional)
Instructions
- Print out enough Scavenger Hunt pages so that each participant has one. I would print a couple of extras in case one gets dropped in the snow or a water puddle.
- If you have a clipboard, it will make it easier to check off the items as they are found.
Now go out and have fun looking for the items on the list. You might want to have a special prize for the winner or just enjoy the beauty of the season.
