Folded Paper Butterfly
Here is a little different variation on the folded paper butterfly. It’s light and lovely and fun for the kids to make.
Supplies
Colored Copy Paper
Pipe Cleaners
Instructions
You could use colored copy paper like I did or upcycle some of your kids artwork or even use some pretty patterned paper too. Just take 2 squares of paper, one about an inch larger than the other.
Fold them in half along the diagonal, then continue folding them accordion style across the remainder of the square.
Then all you have to do is twist a pipe cleaner around the middle of the 2 folded squares to secure them together.
Then pull the folds open a bit, to resemble butterfly wings. Twist the end of the pipe cleaner to form the ends of the antannae.

Not bery good instructions. Pictures would be helpful or more detail of how to put the paper together.
So sorry you had a problem. Upon checking the project I find that the photos showing how to fold the paper had not transferred over when we went to a new format on the site. I have corrected that problem and they are now visable. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
