Leprechaun and Hat Pony Bead Crafts

Inexpensive pony bead Leprechaun and hat pony bead craft.

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day so make this cute Leprechaun and hat to hang from your backpack to celebrate. All your friends will want to make them too so be ready to tell them where to find the free pattern and instructions.

Trivia:

Supplies

For the Hat you need:

  • 24 Green Pony Beads
  • 4 Black Pony Beads
  • 2 Silver Pony Beads
  • 4 Feet Satin Cord
  • 1 Lanyard Hook

For the Leprechaun you need:

  • 26 Green Pony Beads
  • 4 Ivory Pony Beads
  • 7 White Pony Beads
  • 6 Black Pony Beads
  • 2 Silver Pony Beads
  • 4 Feet Satin Cord
  • 1 Lanyard Hook
Instructions
  1. Fold your cord in half to find the center.
  2. Use a half hitch (see diagram}  to secure it to lanyard hook.
  3. Lace beads using the patterns on the Printables page as a guide.
  4. Tie off and put a small dab of glue to ensure tie holds. Let dry.

Note: Put glue on about an inch of your satin cord and form into a point. Let dry and it will be easier to lace beads onto the cord.
