Fiskars® scallop paper edgers and 1/8” hole punch
Plastic lacing – red
Small note pad and pencil
Pacon® assorted pony beads
Scissors

Instructions
Cut a piece of green foam 4” x 10”. Cut a 2-1/2” hole using a drinking glass or can to trace and cut a hole 1” from the top and sides of the green foam strip. Glue the green foam strip onto the blue foam sheet.
Using the scallop paper edgers, trim the blue foam all the way around leaving a ¼” border. Cut around the inside of the 2-1/2” hole.
Using the scallop paper edgers cut a 3-1/2” x 5-1/2” piece of red foam. Glue it onto the green foam ½” from the bottom. Glue the notepad in the center of the red foam. Let dry.
Cut a 3” square of blue foam. Cut an 18” piece of plastic lacing. Tie a knot on one end of the lacing. Apply a small line of glue along edge of blue foam. Lay pencil and lacing, centered along edge of blue foam, on top of glue. Gently begin rolling the blue foam around the pencil and lacing, until completely wrapped. Glue outside edge of blue foam to seal. (Hint: wrap strips of masking tape around blue foam until dry).
Punch a hole along the right side of the holder, just above the notepad. String the other end of the lacing through the hole and knot on the back to secure.
Optional:
Punch five holes along the bottom edge of the note pad holder. Cut five 12” lengths of plastic lacing. Thread a piece of lacing through first hole. Tie a knot in the lacing on the back of the note pad holder to secure. String assorted pony beads on the end of lacing. Knot to secure. Repeat step with remaining lacing.
Using scallop paper edgers, cut a 1” square of red foam. Cut it in half, to form 2 triangles. Glue to the top corners of the note pad holder as shown.
