Pilgrim Hat Crayon Holder
Our craft today is geared toward keeping the kids happy at Thanksgiving. Often there is a children’s table and a great idea would be to cover it with a large sheet of white paper and give each of the kids a set of these Thanksgiving crayons to keep them happily occupied.
Supplies
Black Paper Cup or Paint One Black
Craft Knife*
Hot Glue Gun*
Chipboard Circle Painted Black
Scissors
Fine Point Marker
Grey Construction Paper
Black Paint
Paintbrush
Instructions
Cut bottom out of cup and paint black if you don't have a black cup.
Cut circle large enough to act as brim when the cup is glued upside down on the circle and paint black.
Cut strip out of grey construction paper approximately one and a half to two inches high to act as hat band and glue onto cup using picture as a reference.
Cut rectangle out of decorative paper like scrapbooking paper to represent the buckle and glue to the hat band.
Cut smaller rectangle out of grey construction paper and glue inside the buckle.
Write the name of each child on their own special set of crayons and see the delight in their eyes as they are told they can write on the tablecloth.
