Instructions
Sketch out a design for your plate. It can be as simple as your name or initial or as intricate as the ability of the child.
If you wish you can lay carbon paper on the plate and put your sketch over top to trace the image on the plate.
Using your markers color in your design and let dry for 24 hours. wipe off any excess carbon.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees and bake for approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to check the manufacturers instructions on the markers.
You may find some crafts where they suggest using Sharpie Markers, but many people have written in that they are very unsatisfied with the results.
