Clam Shell Masterpieces
My granddaughter Dana returned from school in California with some beautiful clam shell masterpieces that she had created. She has always been creative and these lovely shells are a great way to capture those memories. So if you have taken the kids on a beach side vacation, make sure they bring home a variety of shells for craft projects after their return.
Trivia:
A clam has a mouth at the front end of the shell to take in food articles, called plankton (tiny organisms that float in the water). It has a stomach that stores and digests the food.It can reproduce and make baby clams. Source: Smarty Pants Kids – Let’s Consider the Clam!
