Pirate Hat
September 19th is Talk Like A Pirate Day. Here’s a Pirate Hat craft that’s easy for little hands. You’ll find more pirate crafts by entering the word pirate in the search code so try them all for a fun day. This is also great for a Pirate themed Birthday party
Supplies
Long strip of thin cardboard
Piece of black cardstock or heavy paper
White foam
Scissors
Glue
Stapler
Feathers
Sequins or stickers
Instructions

Cut a long thin strip of card. Measure it to the circumference of your child’s head and staple it together.
Trace a jolly roger outline onto a piece of thin white foam or cardboard.
Carefully cut out and stick to the front of the hat. Alternatively, cut out the jolly roger shapes in the free printable project sheet and stick them directly on.
Tape on some colourful feathers and stick on some sequins or stickers to form a contrasting border.
Staple the black hat to the headband you created in step one.
