Valentines with Heart Shaped Envelope Craft

DIY heart shaped valentine with envelope for kids to make

Make lots of these pretty Valentines in their own special heart shaped envelope for the special people in your life. The kids will have smiles on their faces as everybody admires their handiwork.

Trivia:

The early envelopes were often sealed with wax impressed by a signet ring to prevent the wrong people from reading them. For a really important letter a gallows mark could be put on the cover, meaning that it had to be delivered under pain of death. Source: Smithsonian – Pushing the Envelope
