Snowman ornament made out of Craft Sticks

Making an indoor snowman is a great way to enjoy the winter spirit without the chill  This Craft Stick Snowman doesn’t melt either!

Supplies
  • 4 Jumbo Craft Sticks
  • 2 Regular Craft Stick
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • Black Paint
  • White Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Orange pipe cleaner
  • (You could also use a scrap of foam)
  • Tacky Glue or Glue Gun
  • Scraps of ribbon
  • Black Pony Beads
  • Newspaper
  • Paper Plate
Instructions
  1. Put down newspapers to protect your work surface.
  2. Glue the jumbo sticks together and glue one regular craft stick diagonally across the back to make sure the jumbo stick stay together. Let dry
  3. Using the picture as a reference paint the jumbo sticks black and white for the face and hat of the snowman. Paint the regular craft stick black for the brim of the hat.
  4. Glue one regular craft stick horizontally to make a brim for the snowman’s hat.
  5. Glue on a narrow band of ribbon as a hat band. We used a narrow red ribbon trimmed with gold for our snowman.
  6. Glue on the wiggle eyes.
  7. Bend the pipe cleaner in a triangle for the carrot nose. Cut off any excess and glue in place for the nose.
  8. Glue the black pony beads in the shape of a mouth.
  9. Make a loop out of the ribbon to make a hanger and glue to the back of the snowman.
