I Spy Insects Activity Worksheet

I Spy Insects game for young children

I Spy Insects is a great activity for a rainy day or quiet time while recognizing details in a picture and discriminating between shapes and letters. This helps with reading skills where kids need to be able to recognize the difference between the shapes of letters and besides, it’s fun!

Trivia:

One of the best uses of I SPY books is for teaching kids about visual discrimination. The ability to recognize visual details in a picture helps kids to later discriminate between the shapes of different letters — a fundamental reading skill.
