Simple Macaroon Recipe
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14 ounces
- 2 packages flaked coconut, 7 ounces each
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix the sweetened condensed milk, flaked coconut, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until well combined.
- Place one vanilla wafer into the bottom of each ice cream cone. This helps keep the macaroon mixture from falling too far into the cone.
- Spoon the macaroon mixture into each cone. Shape the top a little so it looks like a bird’s nest.
- Place the filled cones on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for about 10 minutes, or until the edges begin to turn golden brown.
- Let the cones cool completely. Add a few Cadbury chocolate eggs to the top of each nest before serving.
Tips
Use foil to help the cones stand upright on the baking sheet while baking.
Adults should handle the oven steps and remove the hot treats from the pan.
You can swap in jelly beans or candy-coated chocolate eggs if you want to try different colors.

Simple Macaroon recipe:
14oz of Eagle Brand Condensed Milk ( NOT evaporated)
2- 7oz packages of flaked coconut
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Mix Together in bowl.
Instructions
Mix your favorite macaroon Recipe.
Put a vanilla wafer in each of the cones (this will prevent the mix from falling into the ice cream cones.
Place your mixture into each of the cones making a nest shape.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes or until edges turn brown.
Let cool and add a few Cadbury chocolate eggs.
