How To Make An Easy Kids Fall Shadow Box
Kids love the colors of Fall. This contest entry from 11 year old Katelyn of Milford, Indiana shows them how to create their own Fall landscape in a colorful Shadow Box scene.
Supplies
Empty Shoe Box
2 Sheets of Green Construction Paper
1 sheet each Brown, Yellow, Orange, Red Construction Paper
4 Craft Sticks
1 Pipe Cleamer
10 Small Pom Poms
Hot glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Instructions
Cut out one long end of shoe box.
Line box w/green paper, cut out 3 tree trunks from brown paper, then 3 sets of irregular shapes from red, yellow, & orange paper for tree tops then glue red, yellow, & orange shapes together to form 3 tree tops, then glue to tree trunk, take a craft stick &glue it for support on bottom & top of tree.
Glue Pom-poms together to make a rabbit & squirrel then use the pipe cleaners to make rabbit & squirrel ears & tail.
Paint rabbit gray & squirrel brown after they're dry glue them to the Forrest floor. Make leaves from tree tops scrap and add leaves as desired.
