How To Make A Halloween Spider Tee Shirt
Instead of buying your Halloween costume this year, help the kids make their own Spooky Halloween Spider Tee. It’s lots of fun and creative too.
Supplies
Orange cotton T-shirt
Tulip® Dimensional Fabric Paint
Black
Fluorescent Green
White
Tulip® Fabric Spray Paint, Asphalt
Paper towels
Masking tape
Instructions
Prewash and dry T-shirt. Iron if necessary.
Turn shirt inside out and iron a sheet of freezer paper inside front of the shirt to keep paint from seeping through to the back of shirt. Turn shirt right side out.
Place four lines of masking tape down the front of the shirt for spider web placement.
Squeeze dots of black dimensional fabric paint, using the masking tape pieces as a guide to create web lines. Let dry. Peel away tape.
Test Asphalt fabric spray on paper towel. Spray circles of Asphalt at the end of each web line. Let dry.
Draw legs on dry black circles with Neon Green and Purple dimensional fabric paint.
Squeeze dots of White dimensional fabric paint on each spider to create eyes. Let dry.
Squeeze dots of Black dimensional fabric paint on top of each white eye for the pupils. Let dry.
