Memorial Day Salute

If the kids don’t have a family member or friend who was in the service, take them to a Veteran’s facility. I can tell you from personal experience that the Veteran’s really appreciate the fact that their fallen brothers and sisters are being remembered.
Trivia: Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May. It was formerly known as Decoration Day and commemorates all men and women, who have died in military service for the United States. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day.
