Mini Pumpkin Clown
If you are looking for a fun project for a kids fall birthday party, try this Mini Clown project designed by Zolanya of MakingFriends.com. Using her clown as an inspiration, buy enough mini pumpkins for each kid and supply them with varioius trims and accessories and turn their creative minds loose.
Supplies
Mini Pumpkin
Wiggle Eyes
Ribbon
Paint
Paintbrush
Pompoms
Various trims
Tacky glue or hot glue gun (adult supervision)
Instructions
Paint your pumpkin and let dry.
Paint on cheeks and mouth.
Glue on wiggle eyes and pom pom nose.
Glue on hair using pom poms, multicolored boa, or yarn.
Mount pumpkin on styrofoam square and decorate with ribbon bow tie.
Add special birthday trim or lollipops for balloons.
There is no right or wrong way to do this, let the kids do their own thing and have fun.
If you prefer you can make the mini clowns up in advance and use them as place cards and favors.
