Moose Paper Bag Puppet

This Moose Paper Bag Puppet is a fun printable craft for kids who enjoy animal activities, puppet play, and simple paper crafts. It is easy to make with a paper lunch bag, crayons or markers, and our printable moose pieces. Supplies

  • Paper lunch bag
  • Printed moose template
  • Markers or crayons
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick or school glue

Instructions

  1. Print the moose puppet template and color the pieces if you would like to add extra detail before cutting.
  2. Carefully cut out all of the moose pieces.
  3. Place the paper lunch bag flat on your table with the flap facing up. Glue the moose head onto the bottom flap of the bag so it will move when the puppet is used.
  4. Glue the beard and antlers in place as shown on the finished sample.
  5. Let the glue dry completely before playing with your puppet.
  6. Use your moose puppet for storytelling, pretend play, or as part of a woodland animals lesson.
