Mosaic Egg Shell Cross
This pretty Mosaic Cross made from recycled egg shells created by Valerie of MakingFriends.com is a perfect project for Good Friday.
Supplies
Paper Mache Cross Box or cardboard
Colored Easter Eggs
Decoupage
Satin Cord
Paint
Paint Brush
Tacky Glue
Instructions
Make a template of the top of the cross box. Paint the cross box. If you don't have a cross box, just draw a cross on a cardboard and cut out.
Crack the colored eggs and take the shells off. Then place the egg shells on the template upside down so that the colored part of the egg shell is facing down, cover the entire template.
Then decoupage over cross box lid or cardboard and then adhere to the egg shells that are on the cross box template. Let dry.
Then decoupage over the egg shells again.
Finish by taking satin cord and gluing to the outline of the top of the cross box.
