Newsprint Art can be very chic or very vintage and for kids of all ages it provides an opportunity for them to express themselves creatively without spending a lot of money.

Cardboard
Black construction paper
Newspaper
Glue
White construction paper
Instructions
Glue black construction paper to your cardboard to give it substance.
Design your art piece on your white construction paper with clean simple pieces like leaves, branches, butterflies, flowers etc. Use the picture as a reference. Cut the pieces out and trace them on newsprint. Glue the two together. This makes your newsprint stronger.
Now glue your newsprint design onto the black construction paper and frame it and you have a striking piece of art.
