Paper Bag Native American Vest Craft
The fourth Friday in September is Native American Day and the FreeKidsCrafts Team has designed this Paper Bag Native American Vest so everyone can have fun learning more about Native Americans. This craft is also appropriate for Thanksgiving pageants.
Trivia:
Within the geographic boundaries of the United States there are more than 566 Native American tribes and Alaska Native groups that speak more than 250 languages. Each tribe has its own culture, history and identity.
Supplies
- Large Paper Grocery Bag
- Markers
- Scissors
Instructions
- Cut sides out of paper bag and then cut a hole large enough for the child’s head to fit through.
- Using the photo as a reference, cut fringe on the bottom of the vest.
- Decorate your vest with markers. Research Native American tribes and symbols.
