Paper Box Vases
These pretty Paper Box Vases make a nice gift for someone special, like Mom. It’s also a nice craft to treat yourself with as someone special too.
Supplies
1 ball 860-123 Vanna's Choice® Yarn: Beige
1 ball 860-135 Vanna's Choice® Yarn: Rust
1 ball 860-108 Vanna's Choice® Yarn: Dusty Blue
1 ball 860-140 Vanna's Choice® Yarn: Dusty Rose
1 ball 860-173 Vanna's Choice® Yarn: Dusty Green
Wilton Cake Boxes and Large Tent Candy Boxes
Craft glue
Small glass or plastic jar that fits into assembled box
Note: You can also use milk or juice cartons for this project
Instructions
VASE Cut lid off box and bend remaining edges outwards.
Apply a small amount of glue to top portion of both interior and exterior of box.
Wrap yarn around box within glued area. Continue to apply glue to one small section at a time and wrap with yarn until exterior of box is covered. Allow to dry.
Cut short lengths of yarn and glue onto wrapped box in spirals to make dots. Allow to dry.
Note: Use jar slipped inside wrapped box for water.
