Fun Ideas
Add a smile, rosy cheeks, or fluffy cotton ball cheeks to give each bunny its own personality.
Make several bunnies in different sizes for a fun Easter bulletin board or classroom display.
Let children draw a background on another sheet of paper and glue their bunny onto it for a finished art project.
Patterns, Templates and Printables
This craft uses simple cut paper shapes and does not require a printable template. You can easily make the ears, ear centers, and facial features from construction paper scraps you already have on hand.
Teacher Friendly Educational Extension
This easy craft for kids works well as a spring classroom activity. Teachers can use it to practice basic shape recognition by talking about circles, ovals, and half circles. It also helps build fine motor skills through cutting and gluing.
For an added learning activity, ask children to describe their bunny using color words and simple sentences. Younger children can name the bunny parts, while older children can write a short story about where their Easter bunny is going and what it will do on Easter day.
