Playtime Ice Skating Paper Dolls
Our Playtime Ice Skating Paper Dolls are lacing up their skates and practicing dazzling routines on the ice. Whether they are performing in a fun exhibition or competing for a medal, these skaters are ready to shine. You can dress a pair for a synchronized routine or create single skaters in men and women styles. Best of all, kids can design their own costumes for even more creative fun.

This printable paper doll activity is perfect for winter classroom activities, indoor play days, and creative afternoons at home.
Fun Fact
Although skating began in Europe, modern figure skating traces its roots to an American named Jackson Haines. Born in New York in 1840, Haines brought graceful dance movements to the ice and helped shape the sport we recognize today. Source:Â US Figure Skating – History of Figure Skating

Teacher Friendly Educational Extension
This activity can easily be turned into a cross curriculum lesson.
Writing Prompt
Have students write a short story about their skater preparing for a big competition. What is their routine like? Are they nervous or excited?
History Connection
Research the history of figure skating and famous Olympic skaters. Students can present one athlete and share interesting facts with the class.
Art and Design
Encourage students to design their own skating costumes using patterns, glitter accents, or team colors. Discuss how costume design helps express personality and performance style.
Math Connection
Measure and compare heights of the paper dolls. Younger students can practice basic measuring skills, while older students can calculate scale or proportions.
