Popsicle Stick Catapult
Callie from Indianapolis, Indiana submitted this creative Popsicle Stick Catapult for all of you kids to try. Callie writes “I like to dance, sew and play with my friends. My favorite subject is math.One thing most people don’t know about me is I write and draw a comic with my friends.”
Supplies
6 Popsicle sticks or craft sticks
5 rubber bands
1 bottle cap
1 projectile
1 can of spray glue
Instructions
1. Take four Popsicle sticks and tie them together at both ends.
2. Take the two remaining Popsicle sticks and tie them at on end.
3. Force the two Popsicle sticks apart and tie in the middle with two rubber bands.
4. Then spray glue on the back of the bottle cap and let dry for 10 min.
5 put the projectile in the bottle cap pull down the Popsicle stick and watch it fly.
