Quilled Cat
This Quilled Cat is a good introduction to quilling. As the kids get a little more experienced they can move on to some really beautiful projects or create their own masterpieces.
Supplies
c5mm Yellow Quilling Paper
Tweezers
Rolling Pen
Glue
Scissors
Instructions
Make the main body of the cat
Cut a piece of 5mm yellow quilling paper, then roll one end into a small circle sized 10mm
Roll the quilling paper 4 times and shape it into a lose oval and stick the tail;
Press the out layer and shape it into a tear drop as shown in the picture;
Stick the tear drop pattern on a card, then make another smaller drop pattern, and finally stick them together.
Make the feet and ears for the cat
Cut 2 pieces of 5mm quilling paper, then roll each into a loose coil;
2nd, press and shape the coil into eye-like pattern respectively;
Stick them to the bottom of the quilling body, making them the feet of the cat;
Cut another 2 pieces of quilling paper, roll them into loose coil and shape them into teardrop respectively;
Stick them to the top of the main body, making them the ears of the cat.
Finish the cute yellow quilling paper cat
Cut a piece of quilling paper, then tailor it into pieces as pictured, making them the beard of the cat;
Cut a piece of quilling paper and make a loose coil in the end, making it the tail of the cat;
Stick the beards one by one to make the cat alive and vivid.
