Retro Tie Belt
Teenagers will love to craft this fun hippie-style tied belt as a special gift for their favorite friend (and for them too). Wearable crafts are a big hit with teens who like to be able to show off their handiwork and become trend setters for their clic.
Supplies
1 ball 210-126 Lion Brand Suede: Coffee
1 spool of jewelry wire (can be found at most craft stores) or nylon fishing line
An assortment of seed (small) beads in a color that coordinates with the yarn
Instructions
With a strand of yarn, measure comfortably around your waist and add 32 inches. Cut.
Cut two lengths of wire or fishing line the same length as the yarn.
Knot the jewelry wire or fishing line at one end, and completely fill it with the seed beads, closing the other end with a knot
Repeat with other strand of wire or fishing line (you can use more than 2 strands for a more sparkly look)
Cut 10 lengths of the Suede yarn (add more for a fuller belt)
Knot on the side and enjoy!

Lion Brand is a family-owned and operated business and a beloved American brand since 1878. Today, the business is run by four members of the fourth generation of Blumenthals. It is their passion for yarn, reflected by all Lion Brand associates, that is the secret to Lion Brand’s success.
