Tiger Finger Puppet Craft
This cute little Tiger Finger Puppet craft is a roaring good time for kids. It is quick to make and even more fun to play with afterward. Finger puppets are wonderful for encouraging storytelling, imaginative play, and creative conversations. Kids can use their tiger puppet to act out jungle adventures or make up their own silly stories.
Puppets also give children a fun way to express thoughts and feelings. Sometimes it is easier to let the puppet do the talking.

Supplies
• One 1 1/2 inch orange glitter pom pom
• Three 1/2 inch orange glitter pom poms
• Two 1/2 inch silver glitter pom poms
• One 1/4 inch black glitter pom pom
• Two 7 mm wiggle eyes
• One orange glitter fuzzy stick
• Pen
• Craft glue
• Scissors
Instructions
- Glue two 1/2 inch orange pom poms to the top of the 1 1/2 inch pom pom to create the tiger’s ears. Let dry.
- Glue the wiggle eyes onto the front of the large pom pom.
- Add the 1/4 inch black pom pom for the nose.
- Glue the two silver pom poms on either side of the nose to create the cheeks. Glue the remaining orange pom pom under the nose to form the chin.
- Cut the orange fuzzy stick in half. Wrap one half tightly around a pen to create a coil. Slide it off carefully to keep the spiral shape.
- Glue the coiled fuzzy stick to the bottom of the head to form the finger holder.
- Allow everything to dry completely. Slide it onto your finger and let the jungle adventures begin.
Fun Facts
Children love having conversations with puppets. Each time they talk through their puppet, they build language skills and confidence. Puppets are especially helpful for shy children who may feel more comfortable speaking when their puppet becomes their voice.
