Supplies
Elastic
Thread
Sewing needle
Tulle 5 colors,1 1/2 yards of each color
Dowel stick
Ribbon
Instructions
Tutu:
Take the elastic and measure child's waist add a little extra length for sewing it together. I used 5 colors of tulle and cut them into strips about 4-5 inches wide and about a 1/2 to 1 yard long depending on how long you want it to be. I used 1 1/2 yards of each color tulle. Take the tulle and tie it onto the elastic tieing it in the middle of the tulle. Rotate colors until the elastic is full. Bring ends together and sew together and there you go.
Head Pieces:
Use left over tulle and braid three strips together tied into a circle and then tie the tulle to the back of it the same way as the tutu. See the photo below.
Wands:
Take a dowel stick and glue fabric around it and then glue a ribbon around it and then tie ribbon and strips of fabric to the top of it.
