Valentine Heart Envelope and Card Craft

Trivia:
The early envelopes were often sealed with wax impressed by a signet ring to prevent the wrong people from reading them. For a really important letter a gallows mark could be put on the cover, mleaning that it had to be delivered under pain of death. Source: Smithsonian – Pushing the Envelope
Supplies
- Red or White Cardstock or Heavyweight Paper
- White Paper
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
Instructions
- Print envelope pattern on red, pink or white cardstock and cut out envelopes
- Fold on solid lines
- Print and cut out valentine pictures on white paper
- Using feature picture fold envelope and put a dab of glue on top flap to keep it closed
- Write the name of your special Valentine on the outside and deliver
Note: If you are making this craft in black and white, use the plain envelope pattern on a colored paper of your choice.
