Beaded Bunny Napkin Ring Craft
Make cute little beaded bunny napkin rings to dress up your family dinner table for Easter. You will be able to add them to your stash of Easter decorations and use them year after year. This is a good project to get teens into the spirit of the season.
Trivia:
The napkin ring is a practical object with historical roots in France. Around the year 1800, the bourgeoisie invented this device as a way to identify one’s napkin in between washes, and it wasn’t long before the idea spread quickly throughout countries in the western world. In those early years, napkin rings were made out of a variety of materials such as silver, wood, glass, bone, and, by the early twentieth century, Bakelite. Some are simple in their construction; others more intricate. Source: Duquesne University – The Napkin Ring: A Symbol of Community Life
