Fold a piece of construction paper in half lengthwise.

On the outside of the folded paper, draw a gradually decreasing curved line from top to bottom. This will help shape your mascot.

Using the fold as the bottom edge, write a name in large script letters. Make sure some parts of the letters touch the folded edge, just like when making a paper snowflake.

Draw the letters in outline form so you can cut around them.

Carefully cut around the outline of the name and the outer edge shape.

Open the paper to reveal your mascot.

Glue on wiggle eyes and add decorations like glitter, markers, or stickers.
