Handprint Valentine’s Day Card
This Handprint Valentine’s Day Card is a sweet keepsake that moms, dads, grandparents, and other loved ones will treasure for years. Kids love tracing their hands and turning them into a special homemade card filled with love. This is an easy Valentine craft for kids that works well at home, in classrooms, or as a simple holiday activity for groups.

A fun fact for kids is that each human hand has 27 bones. That means your hands are doing a lot of important work every single day.

Teacher Friendly Educational Extension
This craft is a great way to combine art with early learning. Children can practice tracing, cutting, gluing, and handwriting while making a meaningful project. Teachers can also use this activity as a chance to talk about body parts, counting fingers, or learning simple facts about the human hand. For a writing extension, ask students to finish the sentence, “I give a handful of love when I…”
