Mother’s Day Bath Salt Card And Recipe
Mom will be delighted with this sweet and thoughtful Mother’s Day Bath Salt Card and Recipe. Kids can make a pretty handmade card and attach a small bath salt gift for a relaxing surprise. It is a lovely homemade gift for Mom, Grandma, or another special person.

Supplies
- Pink cardstock
- Test tube with lid
- Natural raffia or ribbon
- Little silk flowers or dried flowers
- Glue dots
- Scissors
- Funnel
Bath Salt Recipe
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 10 drops essential oil
You can also try a few simple variations:
- Use two essential oils together for a custom scent
- Add a pinch of dried lavender or rose petals
- Use kid-safe spices such as cinnamon for a warm scent
Instructions
- Mix the Epsom salt, baking soda, and essential oil together in a bowl until well combined.
- Use a funnel to carefully pour the bath salt mixture into the test tube. Put the lid on tightly.
- Tie raffia or ribbon around the test tube. Add a few small silk flowers or dried flowers for decoration.
- Print and cut out the Mother’s Day card template.
- Use glue dots to attach the filled test tube to the front of the card.
- Give the card to Mom as a special handmade gift. She can pour the bath salts into warm running bath water for a soothing bath.
- If you have extra bath salt mixture left over, pour it into a small jar or decorative bottle for an extra gift.

Bath Salt Recipe
1 Cup Epsom Salt
1/2 Cup Baking Soda
10 Drops Essential Oil
You can also try some variations:
Use spices instead of oil.
Combine two or more essential oils.
Mix ingredients together thoroughly then pour into the test tube using a funnel. Cap off the test tube.
Tie a piece of raffia or ribbon around the tube. Add a couple of dry flowers to the ribbon.
Print out the Mother's Day card and cut to size.
Use glue dots to hold the tube to the card.
Mom can pour the mixture into running water for a wonderful soothing bath.
