Printable Patriotic Bookmarks
Printable Patriotic Bookmarks are a fun and meaningful way for kids to celebrate pride in their country. These printable bookmarks for kids are great for the Fourth of July, Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, classroom activities, or a thoughtful visit to veterans at the VA.

We have included both a full-color version and a black and white version, so kids can print, color, cut, and share them with family, friends, classmates, or veterans.
Fun Facts
There are millions of veterans living in the United States, representing many generations of service.
The colors of the American flag are often associated with patriotic meaning: red for courage, white for purity, and blue for justice and perseverance.
Bookmarks have been used for hundreds of years to help readers save their place without damaging book pages.

Teacher Friendly Educational Extension
Turn this printable patriotic bookmark activity into a simple classroom service project. Have students write a short thank you note or kind message on the back of each bookmark before sharing them with veterans, service members, or community helpers.
For a writing connection, ask students to choose a patriotic word such as freedom, courage, service, or gratitude and write one sentence about what that word means to them.
