Supplies

  • 1 key ring
  • 47 yellow 9 mm pony beads
  • 20 white 9 mm pony beads
  • 8 black 9 mm pony beads
  • Plastic lacing or satin cord
  • Tacky glue

Instructions

  1. Fold the cord in half.
  2. Slide the folded end through the key ring.
  3. Pull the loose ends through the folded loop and tighten to secure the cord to the ring.
  4. String the beads onto the cord following the school bus pattern.
  5. If you are using satin cord, place a small amount of tacky glue on the ends and let it dry before threading the beads. This will make the cord easier to work with.
  6. When all the beads are in place, tie a knot at the end to hold them securely.
  7. Trim any extra cord if needed.

      After you do the first two yellow beads on the bottom row, add two black bead and thread back up to the yellow row and repeat on the other wheel.
