Skip the expensive party balloons and make your own Easy Balloon Decals instead. This fun kids craft is a simple way to turn plain balloons into cute animal-themed party decorations. Children can help cut out the printable pieces and match them to colorful balloons for a playful party activity.

These easy crafts for kids are great for birthday parties, classroom celebrations, and animal-themed events.
Supplies
- Animal balloon decals printable
- Paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Spray adhesive or double-sided tape
- Balloons
- Balloon sticks and cups
Instructions
- Print out as many animal balloon decal pages as you need.
- Carefully cut out the animal features and shapes along the indicated lines.
- Match each animal decal set with a coordinating balloon color.
- Blow up the balloons and tie them securely.
- Attach the decal pieces to the balloon using spray adhesive or small pieces of double-sided tape.
- Place the balloon cup over the knot at the bottom of the balloon and insert the stick.
Tips
Use cardstock instead of regular paper if you want the decals to hold their shape a little better.
Adult help is recommended if using spray adhesive. Double-sided tape is often easier and less messy for younger kids.

Teacher Friendly Educational Extension
Turn this craft into a fun learning activity by asking children to identify each animal and talk about its colors, habitat, or sounds. You can also have kids sort balloons by color, count how many of each animal they made, or create a simple story featuring all of their balloon animals. This makes the project a nice fit for preschool and early elementary classroom activities.
